It was great to have people back in the building for Family Fair!
A HUGE thanks to Kevin and his crew at Gerry's Foods for helping us out on such short notice! They pulled together and whipped up 300 buns for our family fair when ours didn't show up on the truck. We can't thank them enough!
Track and field at Barnesville for today, 4/26 is canceled. There will be practice.
Be Kind Day Information
Clarification: Childcare is being offered by UH. The description I copied and posted in the previous notice was from the point of view of the person running the program in Ulen.
We will be providing summer care from the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for school aged children starting May 31st. This means that they must be ages ranging from going into kindergarten through going into 7th grade in fall of 2022.
Location: Ulen-Hitterdal Public Schools
Some things that we will be doing this summer include:
- Lots of time spent outside on the playground and playing games
- Playing gym activities
- Escorting children to their Summer Rec activities
- Providing breakfast, lunch, and snacks
- Arts and crafts projects
- Computer and movie time
- Potential walks and/or field trips
And so much more throughout the summer!

Kindergarten Registration
Due to potentially bad weather, the Family Fair is postponed to Wednesday the 27th.

There will be practices.
School will be 2 hours late in the morning due to weather and road conditions.
Baseball VS Pelican Rapids, originally scheduled for today, has been postponed. There will be practice.
There will be JH Baseball practice in Ulen today, April 4th. Shuttles will run as stated in the activities calendar.
Baseball at EGFSH- no JH game today. Varsity @ 4:30 with JV to follow will be the schedule due to only one of their fields being ready.
Look for another announcement regarding the possibility of JH practice.
Softball @ EGFSH for today, April 1st is postponed due to field conditions. There will be indoor practice in Twin Valley. This is not an April fools.
Hawley Reach Store Prom Event
Tom Nelson, with the Twin Valley Legion Club, graciously donated a check in the amount of $2500 to the NCE school. This donation will be used for new outdoor basketball goals on the Tennis Court.

NCE Ag Department is doing a herb plant sale starting March 17th. Plants will be sold until all are gone. You can come to buy plants before or after school hours. The herbs include Thyme, Sage, Parsley, Cilantro, Oregano, Basil,
Rosemary, Chives (limited), and Fennel. The cost of each plant is small plants: $1, medium plants: $2, and large plants: $3. If you would like more information please contact Ms. Newberg. All the plants are located in the Ag room.
