Just a reminder as school starts this week that cell phones are to be away during the learning day. Instead of texting, please call the office by 2pm regarding changes to the student's evening schedule.

Just a reminder to parents that have children starting Preschool at NCE, we will not be starting class time until September 12th, for 4-5 year olds and September 13th for the 3 year olds. Please note that this is a different schedule than the K-12 students.
Also the 3 year old program only meets on Tuesday of every week and preschool will meet Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of every week. However Parents/Guardians can choose to send their child all four days, three days or two days a week.

Day 1: Started the day at 12am leaving from NCE, flight at 7am. They toured: Pentagon Memorial Garden, Tidal Basin: MLK, FDR, & Jefferson Memorials, U.S. Capitol Hill Tour and the Holocaust Memorial Museum.

The Front hall will be closed due to the floor being waxed. DO NOT ENTER thru the main gym doors or go into that hall. Signs will be posted. Please enter the school thru the main district entrance (center of building) in the front parking lot and go thru the cafenasium or enter thru the back corner door by the shop area. The drinking fountain in the cafenasium is available along with restrooms in the back hall. Thank You.
