On Monday, March 9 the jazz band and 13 vocal ensembles will be performing at the Subsection 30 Small Ensemble Contest in Mahnomen. 9:30-3:00 and is open to the public. Includes ensembles groups from all our area high schools. Come out and support our NCE musicians!
Grades 9-12 attend safe driving lyceum @ Ulen Auditorium. Four key points for safe driving:
1- wear your seat belt 2- don't drive impaired 3- put down your phone 4- drive at safe speeds

Youth Art Month is celebrated for the month of March and the Plains Art Museum will display three amazing NCE student artist’s work through the end of the month. Stop in to see the creativity of these young artists! Reception: Sunday at 3pm

A critique is an oral or written discussion strategy used to analyze, describe, and interpret works of art. Not only is it important to experience critiques of your own work, but it’s also important to critique others. (9th graders: “Expressive Self Portraits”)

Plains Art Museum is going to display “Celebrating: Youth Art Month.”We have three amazing high schoolers displaying their art work: Jayden Nadgwick, Brandy Smith, and Rylee Smith. They are representing us at this beautiful museum. If you’re in Fargo in March please stop by!
